Privacy Policy

How Breve handles your information. In short: the app works without an account, and when you sign in we keep only what's needed.

1. What we collect

Breve is usable without an account — browsing, search, lead sheets, harmonic analysis and the metronome need no login and collect nothing. You only create an account to save favorites.

  • Email — to sign in. You can create an account with email and password, or sign in with Apple or Google. With Apple or Google we receive your email and, if the provider shares it, your name.
  • Favorites — the songs you save, linked to your account.

2. What we don't collect

We don't collect browsing data, practice history, or device information, and we use no third-party analytics or tracking. Your recently viewed songs stay only on your device.

3. How we use it

  • Authenticate your sign-in (email + password, or Apple/Google).
  • Save and sync your favorites across devices.

4. Sharing

We don't sell or trade your data. We use providers to run the service: Supabase (account and favorites storage), Apple and Google (social sign-in, when you choose it), and Resend (sending emails such as password resets). We may disclose data if required by law.

5. Your rights and deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time, right in the app, under Settings → My account → Delete account. Deletion permanently removes your account and favorites.

  • Access and correct your data.
  • Delete your account and data in the app or by email request.
  • Withdraw consent by no longer using the account.

6. Children

Breve is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

7. Security and retention

Session tokens are kept in the device's secure storage. We retain your data while your account exists; deleting it removes them.
